delila?

Hailing originally from upstate New York but now living in New York City, Delila is a 19-year-old singer and songwriter making music with a captivating blend of summertime cinematic influences. Delila draws inspiration from artists like Lana Del Rey, Halsey, Marina and the Diamonds, Sky Ferreira, and Lorde, as well as many of her favorite films, to weave together dreamy melodies and tell-it-like-it-is lyrics. 

 

Delila’s music captures the angst and excitement of coming of age, heard clearly in her newest single, “Madeforyou,” a synthpop record made for driving with the windows down. Her single, “Sex Dreams,” released in 2023, acts as an exciting introduction to Delila and an older sister-song to “Madeforyou.” She hopes to mold a cohesive concept for her music and image through sonic and visual storytelling with nods to the 1960’s and 2010’s, giving her listeners an escape from reality as well as an invitation into a world she’s created where every day is summer and you’re never truly done growing up or falling in love.
